We purchase all of our designer rental bags as brand new and fully tagged. Each time our bags are rented they are quality checked in and out of our premises. Before they go out to rental they are checked, cleaned and carefully packaged.

What period can I borrow a designer bag for?

Our designer bags are available to hire by the week, fortnight or the month. If you wish to extend your rental please email us at rentals@borrowthatbag.co.uk to request an extension. You can also check availability by logging in and checking the calendar booking system.

DELIVERY - Where do you deliver?

We are based in the UK and deliver to mainland UK addresses only. Delivery is restricted to the address your payment card is registered to until sufficient trading history has been established.

How is the designer rental bag delivered?

Your designer rental bag will be delivered to you in discreet boxed packaging. A signature will be required.

RETURNS - And returns?
A:
To return your designer rental bag please package your bag in the same way as it arrived in its original packaging. Take it to the Post Office with the FREEPOST label and ask them to return it to us. You must obtain a dated receipt as proof of posting.
Once you have done this please email us at returns@borrowthatbag.co.uk to inform us which post office you have used, the receipt number for tracking and the date and time of postage. If you have rented another designer rental bag it will be delivered when your current one has arrived at our premises.

Who pays for delivery and collection of the designer rental bags?

You pay £9.95 for each delivery. Returns are by FREEPOST using the label

How long will my designer rental bag take to arrive?
A:
Designer rental bags are dispatched by next day delivery. Once you have become a Registered Member you can receive bag rentals as soon as next day as long as you make your booking before 12.00 noon. We will email you once we have dispatched your designer rental bag advising you of dispatch and the receipt number for tracking purposes. If you do not receive your designer rental bag on the stated day please notify us immediately.

How do I pay for my designer bag rental?

You will need to input your credit card details every time you place an order for rental. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Mestro, Switch and Solo.

Do I have to pay VAT on my rentals?
A:
Presently we are not VAT registered. Should we register for VAT purposes all our quoted prices will be inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate.

When do I pay for my designer bag rental?

Your payment card will be charged when your order has been processed and your handbag dispatched.

Is it safe to input my credit card details on the website?

Borrow That Bags web payment system is powered by RBS Streamline or Protx ePayments system, which means that your credit card details are fully encrypted using the most sophisticated e-payment software. All credit card numbers are encrypted when your order is placed using SSL 128 bit encryption. They are not held in clear text on any website.

Do I need to provide verification?

Proof of payment details, address and identification will be requested when you register as a Registered Member and updated as necessary to prevent any potential fraud for both you and us.

What happens if a designer rental bag is dirtied, damaged, lost or stolen?
A:
We ask all our members to take care of our designer rental bags as if they were their own. In the unfortunate event that this occurs we ask that you contact us on 07949 083506 or email us on rentals@borrowthatbag.co.uk as soon as possible.
Dirty or damaged designer rental bags
Once we have received your email we will ask you to return the bag to us immediately so we can assess the extent of the damage and prevent any further damage from taking place. In making our assessment, we will consider the length of time which you had the handbag and normal wear and tear. If damage beyond normal wear and tear has taken place to the extent that the bag becomes incapable of being repaired or restored to its original condition (fair wear and tear excepted) you will be charged a replacement fee. If the bag is capable of being repaired or restored to its original condition (fair wear and tear excepted) we may charge you a lesser amount than the relevant Replacement Fee to cover the cost of such repair or restoration. Lost or stolen designer rental bags
If the handbag has been lost or stolen, you will be charged a replacement fee, which can vary depending on the item in question. Please see our Terms and Conditions for full details on Replacement Fees.

Can you source other designer rental bags?
A:
Yes we can do our best to source other designer rental bags. We are always on the lookout for new bags for our Registered Members and regularly update our stock. Email us at rentals@borrowthatbag.co.uk with your wish list.

Are the designer rental bags for sale?
A:
Yes some of them are under our Get That Bag banner. Registered Members can email us at sales@borrowthatbag.co.uk to request a quote based on the age and condition of the particular bag.

What happens if I don't return the designer rental bag at the end of the agreed rental period?
A:
If the rental of a designer rental bag is extended we will charge a further term of rental as agreed. If the designer rental bag is not returned within the hire period stated on your order confirmation we will charge the full replacement cost of the bag to you. Please see our Terms and Conditions.

How many designer rental bags can I borrow at one time?

Rentals are restricted to one designer rental bag per Registered Member at any one time unless agreed previously.
